YOUR SMILING FACE WILL BRIGHTEN EVERYONE’S MEAL – You’ll get to meet new people, all the other team members and speakers at the conference, work alongside a warm and friendly team and discover how blessed it is to give rather than receive.
Most team members eat meals prepared by the catering team – being on the catering team mean you make that possible and will thus support all that is happening at the conference. Others who are unable to cater for themselves will also be pre-ordering your delicious meals.
This role involves preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner and serving these meals in the dining tent. Up to 100 team members and their families will be relying on your help. You’ll work about 4-6 hours a day but in shifts so you’ll get to most of the morning and evening programmes. You’ll work as part of a small friendly team of 4 or 5 at a time. Anyone on the Kitchen Team receive free meals and a half price ticket as they cannot attend all the programme. You’ll need to be onsite for all of the conference and the day before (at least Saturday 4pm – Friday 2pm). If you can be there earlier or later we also need a few meals prepared for the set-up and knockdown teams. You are also invited to the ‘Team Drinks and Nibbles’ at 8:30pm on Saturday.
